Salvation Army Needs Thanksgiving Donations

Need expected to be greater this year due to Hurricane Irma.

Saying it is expecting a greater need this year because residents are struggling with lost wages and repairs after Hurricane Irma, the Salvation Army of Manatee County is seeking turkeys and other items for its annual dinner.

The Salvation Army typically feeds 500 people . The organization is seeking turkeys, pies, stuffing, cranberry sauce. Donations can be dropped off between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 1204 14th Street West, Bradenton.
