Sura Kochman, an organizer for the Pine Shores Neighborhood Alliance, will speak Monday, Nov. 13, about the latest plans for Siesta Promenade at the northwestern corner of Tamiami Trail and Stickney Point Road. The meeting, sponsored by the Sarasota County Council of Neighborhood Associations, begins at 7 p.m. at the Sarasota Garden Club, 1131 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota.

The Siesta Promenade project proposed by Benderson Development includes retail and restaurants, more than 100 hotel rooms and more than 400 condos and other housing units.
