Tampa's CoAdvantage Corporation, a human resource company that works with small- and medium-sized businesses, announced Tuesday that it recently acquired Sarasota's Progressive Employer Management Company. The merger will create a combined platform that will serve more than 4,000 clients and 85,000 employees. Founded in 1999, Progressive Employer Management Company provides payroll administration, workers' compensation, employee benefits and human resource assistance to businesses of all sizes.
