City Wants Public Input on Parks and Recreation Priorities
Two public open houses this week are being held to receive community input on the city's social, cultural and recreational needs and priorities.

The City of Sarasota’s Parks and Recreation Department is holding two public open houses this week in order to receive community input on the city's social, cultural and recreational needs and priorities. The first open house will be held 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 John Rivers St., Sarasota. The second open house will be held 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Payne Park Auditorium, 2100 Laurel St., Sarasota. Refreshments and light snacks will be served.
