Gecko’s Hospitality Group recently closed its original Gecko’s Grill & Pub location at The Landings and opened a new location down the road on South Tamiami Trail. The new restaurant takes up 8,500 square feet and includes an outdoor patio. The move created 60 new hospitality jobs, bringing the combined Gecko’s Hospitality Group workforce to over 600. The Landings Gecko's had been in business for 25 years. The new restaurant is located at 6606 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
