McClain’s Old Florida Gourmet, a Sarasota-based distributor of specialty food and candy, recently signed an agreement to combine its business with Nassau Candy South.

McClain’s Old Florida Gourmet, a Sarasota-based distributor of specialty food and candy, recently signed an agreement to combine its business with Nassau Candy South, a subsidiary of New York's Nassau Candy Distributors, Inc. Nassau Candy manufactures and distributes specialty confectionery, gourmet and snack food products. Upon closing, McClain’s will become a division of Nassau Candy South. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
