Bradenton's TreeUmph! Adventure Course recently spent $200,000 on new full-body harnesses and Clic-It smart belay technology, investments intended to ensure optimum safety. The new technology prevents guests from mistakenly unhooking from the harness system. Clic-It is a French-made safety hooking system that synchronizes the open and locked positions of the two carabiners used to clip into TreeUmph!'s treetop courses, making the accidental release of both carabiners at the same time impossible. The system prohibits climbers from becoming unclipped from the course safety lines while climbing.
