Manatee Technical College, 6305 State Road 70 E., Bradenton, is hosting a free hurricane preparedness event for local businesses from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, April 27. Attendees can receive help in developing a business recovery plan and hear from experts in the recovery field.
