Dr. Andrew Moulton, a spine surgeon at Sarasota Orthopedic Associates, recently returned from a weeklong mission during which he performed life-altering spinal surgeries on children in the Dominican Republic. Moulton, co-founder and president of the Butterfly Foundation, travels several times each year with his team of surgeons and staff to perform spinal surgeries and instruct spine surgeons in developing countries.
Junior League of Sarasota women recently created thank-you cards for Honor Flight of West Central Florida veterans who are making a trip to Washington, D.C., to visit their memorials this spring. Several Junior League of Sarasota women previously served as guardians, accompanying World War II and Korean War veterans for the day-long trip to reflect on their years of service and sacrifice.
