Sarasota County's new open-air circulator trolley, Siesta Key Breeze, will begin operations on Monday, March 20, providing visitors and residents with free transportation on Siesta Key. The new trolley is a six-month pilot program partially funded by a state grant. The vehicle's path begins at Turtle Beach and passengers can pick up the circulator at all Sarasota County Area Transit stops located along Beach Road. South of Midnight Pass Road, passengers can flag the vehicle and it will stop at the safest location.
