The Sarasota County Film & Entertainment Office is holding its third annual 6 and a Mix event, which includes a speaker panel and a networking mixer, from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Suncoast Technical College, 4748 South Beneva Road, Sarasota. The panel includes producer Carol Cuddy (The Departed, Rachel Getting Married and Men in Black 3) and producer H. Michael Heuser from Storm Entertainment. Some tickets are free; others cost up to $50. Register online here.
