The Sarasota developer Jebco Ventures, Inc., on Wednesday announced plans for The Strand, a new waterfront condominium community on Whitaker Bayou. Located at 1889 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, The Strand will include three buildings with 156 condominium units and 47 private boat slips. The building was designed by Hoyt Architects and includes a swimming pool, fitness center, dog park, boardwalk and a kayak and paddleboard launch area. The project will be completed in two phases, with 76 waterfront units constructed first and 40 garden and pool view units completed in the second phase.
