Sarasota's DM Constructors, LLC is forming a new joint venture company with KAST Construction, based in Tampa and West Palm Beach. KAST works with national and regional clients in the multi-family, hospitality, senior living and condominium sectors and is currently building several projects in southwest Florida, including Sarasota's Vue, Westin Hotel and The Mark, St. Petersburg's One and Tampa's Channel Club residential tower. DM, meanwhile, has a record in the health care facilities sector, with over 100 Agency for Health Care Administration facilities under its belt, and both companies have built senior living and memory care sectors throughout the southeastern U.S. Overall, the two companies have 300-plus employees in three offices.
