The Atlanta Braves are currently in exclusive negotiations with Sarasota County to possibly bring its new spring training complex to south Sarasota County, according to a press release issued Tuesday by the county. If terms of an agreement can be reached, the Braves will move their spring training operations from Central Florida to Sarasota County as soon as the 2019 spring season, according to Braves chairman and CEO Terry McGuirk.
