Manasota SCORE will present an updated version of its Simple Steps for Starting Your Business workshop series at the Robert L. Taylor Community Center, 1845 34^th St., Sarasota, with free introductory sessions from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, and Saturday, Jan. 14. The workshop presents information on business structures and success factors, and it introduces a one-page business plan overview that the remainder of the workshops will cover in greater depth. The four building block workshops, which cost $25 each, are being offered for a $75 fee to anyone who signs up and pays for all four sessions by Saturday, Jan. 28.
