J. Allison Archbold, a shareholder in the law firm of Fergeson, Skipper, Shaw, Keyser, Baron & Tirabassi, P.A., was recently accepted into Class II of the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. The national organization is made up of lawyers elected to membership by demonstrating a high level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors.

David Gurley—an attorney with Gurley Vitale, a commercial litigation, construction and surety boutique law firm—was recently selected to serve as a presenter for the fifth annual Construction Law in Florida seminar. The event, organized by The Seminar Group, takes place on Oct. 13 and 14 in downtown Miami. The conference will focus on the latest legal, financial, real estate, employment, environmental and government issues.

Finance Monthly recently named Sarasota attorney Anne Carrión Toale as its “Vaccine Injury Lawyer of the Year.” The magazine is an international publication focused on the corporate sector. The awards are given on a points basis including reader votes, feedback and publisher research. Toale is a partner at Maglio Christopher & Toale, P.A., where she practices vaccine injury law in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
