Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium recently hired Allison Whitten as its new facility rental and service coordinator. Whitten will expand marketing, sales and execution of public venue rentals at Mote and will also coordinate and execute in-house conferences and seminars and special volunteer events. Whitten said she hopes "to have vendors and other wedding and event planners recommend Mote to more of their clients" during her first year, according to a newsletter Q&A.
