Sarasota County's Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources department is asking for community input on a future neighborhood park, located on 6.2 acres at the corner of 46th Street and North Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. The property was purchased through the Neighborhood Parkland Acquisition Program in 2015. The county will hold a community workshop on the topic at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 4726 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
