University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee students will learn about careers in public service as part of an informational tour of Sarasota County's government offices Wednesday, July 13. The event, called "County Career Connections," will allow students to mingle with department heads and listen to presentations about careers in public service. They're expected to hear from assistant county administrator Steve Botelho, human resources director Joanie Whitley and director of economic development Jeff Maultsby.
