The median sale price of homes rose in both Sarasota and Manatee counties in May, according to data released by the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee. Single family median sales prices increased 14.6 percent in Sarasota County to $263,000 between May 2015 and May 2016, while Manatee County experienced a 7 percent jump to $275,000. Condo prices are also on the rise. The Sarasota County condo median sale price rose 4.3 percent to $218,975, and Manatee County witnessed an increase of 4.2 percent in condo sales price, to $166,750.
