The restaurant chain Smashburger announced Wednesday that it will open its first Sarasota location at 2805 University Parkway at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22. Smashburger has more than 365 restaurant locations in 35 states and eight countries. The 2,500 square-foot Sarasota Smashburger will have a dining room that seats 73 and a patio that seats 56.
