Sarasota County will host a grand opening celebration for Fire Station No. 14 at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 31. The celebration and traditional "uncoupling of the hose" ceremony will honor the completion of Sarasota County's newest fire station. The two-story station will serve the Vamo and Osprey area. Fire Station No. 14 is located at 8821 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
