College Resource Center Adds Two New Board Members

A nonprofit center that provides free post-secondary planning services to Venice-area students recently added two new board members to its roster.

The Rotary Futures College Resource Center, a nonprofit resource center that provides free post-secondary planning services to Venice-area students, recently added two new board members to its roster: Amy Archer and Alicia King. Archer, the past principal of Glenallen Elementary School and new principal of Garden Elementary School, and King, the public relations director at ThreeSixOh Public Relations, join 22 others on the organization's board. The Resource Center offers 13 Internet-connected computer, numerous printed materials and volunteers to assist students, parents and community members. Since openings its doors in January 2002, the Center has welcomed 40,000 visitors.
