From 3 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 9, the Sarasota County Film & Entertainment Office will present a series of professional film and entertainment workshops, a networking mixer and a VIP speaker panel. The event will include a number of Hollywood writers, directors and producers, including John David Coles of House of Cards, Homeland, Justified and more. The sessions take place at Suncoast Technical College, 4748 Beneva Road, Sarasota, and cost $12-$50. Register here.
