Manatee County Millennials Conference Begins Friday

The event includes "cosmic shuffleboard," yoga and mimosas, and serious talk about the challenges facing local millennials.

#4Progress, the first conference organized by the Manatee Millennial Movement of Manatee County, begins at 6 p.m. this Friday, April 1, with a "cosmic shuffleboard" event at the Bradenton Shuffleboard Club, 1525 Ballard Park Drive, Bradenton. Beginning at 9 a.m. the following day, Saturday, April 2, at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, 1 Haben Blvd., Palmetto, the bulk of the conference will focus on topics important to local millennials, such as housing, networking, financial stability, entrepreneurship and how to take ownership in one’s community. The weekend event concludes at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 3, with yoga and mimosas on Holmes Beach. Registration costs $40. Click here to sign up.
