Neal Signature Homes Breaks Ground on a New Neighborhood in Lakewood Ranch

The Lakewood Ranch-based home builder Neal Signature Homes recently broke ground on The Alcove at Waterside, a new neighborhood in Lakewood Ranch’s Waterside Village. It is planned to open in early 2023.
The 33-acre property will include 47 home sites in close proximity to Waterside Place, which has shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues, as well as Waterside’s marina and water taxi services.

The Alcove at Waterside will feature lakeside homes with views of Blue Heron Lake. Homes will have a British West Indies-inspired design and coastal architecture, with options for customization. The five floor plans will range from 2,393 to 3,156 square feet, and pricing will start at roughly $1 million.
Located near the new Waterside Park, residents will have access to a splash park, trails, volleyball courts, an event lawn and a boardwalk.
For the past four years, Lakewood Ranch has been the best-selling master-planned community for all ages in the country, according to national real estate consulting firms RCLCO and John Burns. In 2021, the area saw 2,574 new home sales, an increase of 20 percent over the previous year’s numbers. This week, another new 32-acre community with 166 homesites slated for Waterside in Lakewood Ranch was also announced.
