Philanthropist Jack Schlegel and his wife Priscilla Schlegel recently gave the New College Foundation $50,000 to be used toward its "Pei for the Future" initiative, which is raising $15 million to restore dormitories on New College's campus designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei. Gifts of $1,000 of more will be matched up to $50,000. Campaign funds will be used to replace roofs, seal buildings against water intrusion, install new cooling and heating systems, renew the courtyards, and renovate and upgrade the dormitory rooms. Jack Schlegel is a New College Foundation board member.
