Neal Communities recently announced that it broke its all-time monthly sales record in August 2020. The company made 136 sales in August, up 71 percent year-over-year and surpassing its previous all-time monthly sales record of 124 sales in March 2019.

These numbers mirror recent trends seen across the state and country. In Florida, new pending sales of single-family homes were up 21.7 percent in July 2020 compared to July 2019, according to Florida Realtors. Nationally, year-over-year contract signings increased 15.5 percent in July 2020, according to the National Association of Realtors. Sales of new single-family houses in July 2020 were up 13.9 percent from June 2020 and 36.3 percent above July 2019 figures, according to estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Neal Communities recently opened Windward at Lakewood Ranch, and is on schedule to open its new Grand Park community in Sarasota in October. The new community has a British West Indies theme will offer single-family and twin villa-style homes.
