Booming North Manatee County is welcoming another new development, this one located on more than a mile of frontage on the Manatee River in Palmetto.

Water’s Edge at Sanctuary Cove, being developed by WCI, a Lennar community, will be a gated neighborhood of 15 million-dollar-plus luxury homes, five of them directly on the Manatee River. It is located within the existing Sanctuary Cove community.

Residents will be able to use a private marina with individual boat slips. In addition, the Sanctuary Cove Club is an 8,600-square-foot clubhouse with resort-style pool and outdoor social space overlooking the harbor, a game room, grand room, grilling areas, fitness center, private beach, harbor walking trail and nature preserve.

Several models are being offered, ranging from 3,502–5,621 square feet and featuring smart home automation.
