Trolley tours depart from the Center for Architecture Sarasota's McCullough Pavilion.

The Center for Architecture Sarasota’s popular neighborhood trolley tours have resumed for the season, taking place every Thursday morning through April. Two former Sarasota County historical preservation specialists, Lorrie Muldowney, and David Baber, alternate leading the tours.

Tour-goers meet at 10 a.m. at CFAS’ McCullough Pavilion, a former furniture store at 265 S. Orange Ave. in downtown Sarasota that was originally designed in 1960 by Sarasota School of Architecture practitioners William Rupp and Joe Farrell and restored two years ago by Guy Peterson Office for Architecture and contractor Michael Walker. The McCullough Pavilion subsequently earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places.

The cost is $35 for CFAS members; $45 for nonmembers. To register, visit cfasrq.org.
