Sales of single-family homes and condos in Sarasota County rose between April and May, but home sales declined when compared to May 2017, according to new statistics released by the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee on Wednesday. Home sales dropped by 0.2 percent in the year-over-year analysis, while townhouse and condo sales rose 6.4 percent. Home sales in Manatee County increased by 2.6 percent during that same time period, while condo sales grew by 16.8 percent.
