Mercedes Medical, a distributor of laboratory and medical products, is holding a groundbreaking ceremony for its new facility in Lakewood Ranch at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11. The new headquarters will be located in the community's CORE (“Collaboration Opportunities for Research and Exploration”) project, a research park at the corner of State Road 70 and Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, Lakewood Ranch. Mercedes Medical plans to move into the new facility by the end of the year.
