Tracy Ng, D.O., has joined Venice-based Gulf Coast Medical Group Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Ng is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy, a minimally invasive procedure for diagnosing and treating joint problems. The team physician for the Atlanta Braves during spring training, she performs robot-guided surgery for knee and hip replacements as a member of the medical staff at Venice Regional Bayfront Health and also offers telehealth visits.

Ng completed medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, and orthopedic surgery residency at Plainview Hospital in the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System. She then completed additional training in sports medicine and arthroscopy/minimally invasive surgery at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Jackson, Mississippi and Tulane University in New Orleans. As a fellow in Jackson and New Orleans, Ng participated in nearly 1,000 surgeries of the shoulder, knee, hip and elbow.
