James Kotick, M.D., MBA, has joined the staff of Palm Aesthetics and Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America at Blake Medical Center. Covering the areas of Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton, Kotick is practicing at Lakewood Ranch Hospital, Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, Blake Medical Center and the Palm Aesthetics office, which is located near Main Street in Lakewood Ranch.
A graduate of the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, Kotick completed residencies in general surgery, where he was part of the trauma surgery team that treated many of the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando. He subsequently completed his plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery residency in Boston, MA. In addition to his clinical work, Kotick served as an instructor of surgery at Tufts University prior to returning to Florida. He concentrates on procedures such as body contouring, breast augmentation, reconstruction and reduction, liposuction, tummy tuck, gender confirmation and facial aesthetics, such as rhinoplasty and nonsurgical rejuvenation.
