Able & Willing Supply Co.

For a small city, Sarasota's got great style--as evidenced by the number of new boutiques popping up and the cool events and trunk shows happening at existing ones. Here's a round-up of new and notable shopping news.

Able & Willing Supply Co. is new to Gulf Gate, offering made-in-the-USA apparel and home goods with a social conscience. You'll find brands like Taylor Stitch, KKi, FashionABLE, Topodesigns, Krotchet Kids, as well as paper goods, vintage furniture and candles, and the owners will donate 10 percent of every purchase to a charitable cause. Expect to see community workshops and events popping up in the future, too. 6561 Superior Ave., Sarasota (941) 451-738

T. Georgiano's has expanded its offerings and is now selling apparel and accessories in addition to shoes. "We boast brands that cater to comfort and style," owner Tatyana Sharoubim-Stewart says. Designers include Chaser, C&C California, Hudson jeans, Beyond Yoga, Onzie, Kate Spade, Cynthia Rowley and more, in addition to footwear brands like Paul Mayer, Toms, BedStu, Jeffrey Campbell and T. Georgiano's own private label. Additionally, Sharoubim-Stewart is about to launch a personalized styling program that will ship nationwide--stay tuned for more on that. 1409B First St., Sarasota (941) 870-3727.
