WHO: Sarah Macrae, 33, a real estate professional with Michael Saunders & Company
WHAT I DO: I help people buy and sell residential homes. I educate my clients to help them determine what’s right for them. I grew up on Casey Key, so I love waterfront properties, but I work in all areas of Sarasota County. I love showing people our beautiful [region].
Real estate is a fast-paced industry, and the variety of things I get to do during the day is vast. Every day is different. When I’m not working with clients, I’m out and about networking or attending philanthropic events.
MY STYLE: I would say my style is classy with a trendy twist. It typically changes with my mood and what I’m doing – from very boho to very professional. I do tend to wear a lot of black.
I try to stay up to date with trends, but I make them applicable for my personality and aesthetic.
HOW HAS YOUR STYLE EVOLVED? It took a while. When I was in college, I wore a lot of Lacoste, Polo and jeans. In my 20s, I experimented a lot with various styles. Now, I know what my style is, but I still experiment with trends at times. I dress for me and wear what I like.
FAVORITE DESIGNERS: Frame Denim, Camilla, Mara Hoffman, Equipment, Susana Monaco, Tart, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik and Louis Vuitton.
MY GO-TO ITEM: Shift dresses are my go-to item because they can easily transition for work or for play. They can be dressed up or down, depending on the accessories like fun jewelry or shoes. I typically go for a solid – not a print.
FAVORITE ITEM I OWN: A gift from my father. It’s a simple, vintage two-tone gold and silver 1980s Rolex watch he bought in Paris. It holds a special place in my heart.
FOR A NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN: I’d probably wear Frame Denim with a cute flowy top and pair it with a good heel and bag.
Sarah is wearing a La Petite Robe by Chiara Boin top, Mara Hoffman skirt, Manolo Blahnik heels, a vintage coin necklace by French Kande, diamond stud earrings, a Chanel bag, an IWC Schaffhausen watch, lipstick in Schiap and gloss in Angelika by NARS and nail art by The Nail Loft in Salon Lofts by Reva Holcombe.
