Boca Sarasota's $15 Hot Girl Dinner comes with a Caesar salad, truffle-Parmesan fries and "petite charcuterie." Add on a cocktail for $7.

The best dinner deal in town—maybe in the entire state—this summer is Boca Sarasota’s "Hot Girl Dinner." For just $15 on Thursday nights this summer, you’ll get a Caesar salad with grilled lemon, creamy dressing, crispy capers and salty Parmesan crisps, an order of truffle-Parmesan fries and a side of what Boca calls “petite charcuterie” but is actually a stack of apple, cheese, chutney and prosciutto on crostini. You can add a cocktail—an espresso martini, dirty martini or Cosmopolitan—from a special menu for $7, bringing the grand total to $22 before tax and tip.

The meal and its name reference the popularity, specifically among women, of making a meal out of a Caesar salad, fries and a cocktail. (“Girl dinner” can also refer to eating a snack-y assortment of foods for a meal, like cheese, olives, crackers and meat.) We don’t know why it needs to be gendered—the combination is delicious, full stop, especially since we’re in the throes of the sweaty, sticky summer heat and turning on an oven or eating something heavy feels like punishment. Thanks to Boca, now we can all be “hot girls”—and save our pennies—without breaking a sweat.
