Who wants to go to a turkey trot when you can have your own turkey marathon?

Gobble, gobble.

We know. We can't believe it, either: The holidays are already upon us. To ease your worries, we've compiled our favorite restaurants offering Thanksgiving dinner in-house or for you to take away and enjoy at home. No matter what you choose, these spots have you covered.

Duval's

1435 Main St., Sarasota, (941) 312-4001, duvalsfreshlocalseafood.com

Feast on turkey, cornbread, mashed potatoes and more inside Duval's beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Or order a generously sized takeout meal for the whole fam. (Orders before Nov. 14 get a special discount.)

Pier 22

1200 First Ave. W., Bradenton, (941) 748-8087, pier22.com

Pier 22's holiday menu includes a traditional Thanksgiving plated dinner with fresh roasted turkey, house-made stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole, green beans, cranberry sauce, house-made dinner rolls and house-made pumpkin pie, available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Takeout options are available, too; orders must be placed by Nov. 26.

The Ritz-Carlton

1111 Ritz Carlton Dr., Sarasota, (941) 309-2000, ritzcarlton.com

We love a Thanksgiving Day buffet and The Ritz-Carlton does it right. We're talking oysters, caviar, charcuterie, whole-roasted grouper and all the traditional fixins served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oh and don't forget the excellent people watching, too.

Grove

10670 Boardwalk Loop, Lakewood Ranch, (941) 893-4321, grovelwr.com

Speaking of buffets, Grove sets up a solid one from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in its ballroom. A plated Thanksgiving meal is also available in the restaurant from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., as are takeout orders—place those by Nov. 26.

Anna Maria Oyster Bar Landside

6906 14th St. W., Bradenton, (941) 758-7880, oysterbar.net

Celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday and support a local business that was at the forefront of hurricane recovery efforts. Plus, the company says that each staff member working there on Thanksgiving enthusiastically volunteered to do so. (We love to see it.) AMOB says that reservations are encouraged but not required, but we definitely recommend them.

Michael's on East

1212 S. East Ave., Sarasota, (941) 366-0007, bestfood.com

Spend Thanksgiving around Michael's table beginning at 2 p.m., where you can partake in a traditional turkey dinner and à la carte favorites. Michael's also offers robust takeout options; they must be ordered by Nov. 25.

EVOQ at The Westin

1000 Marina View Drive, Sarasota, (941) 260-8255, evoqsarasota.com

This year, EVOQ is putting an elevated spin on Thanksgiving with a traditional buffet—think roasted turkey and prime rib—alongside new menu items like smoked Gouda mac and cheese. Reservations are available from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
