In celebration of summer, the most wonderful time of the year, Visit Sarasota County's annual Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week returns from June 1 through June 14 (and yes, we know that's actually two weeks). Restaurants participating in lunch service will offer a two-course menu for $25 per person and three courses for $40 per person for dinner service. As in years past, many restaurants will also offer upgrades to their prix fixe menus, including wine pairings or specialty dishes.

“Sarasota is home to some of the most amazing restaurants in the state of Florida,” says Visit Sarasota County president Virginia Haley. “Our culinary diversity has grown leaps and bounds for our community. There is something for every gourmand: modern, traditional and international cuisines—pescatarian, vegan and vegetarian, from steaks to seafood. Savor Sarasota has it all. We are a foodie’s paradise.”

Forty-five restaurants have already signed up to participate, and that list will continue to grow in the coming weeks. Here are the confirmed restaurants for this year:

Savor Sarasota was created in 2006 by Visit Sarasota County with the goal to help restaurants get a boost during the summer “off season." It attracts locals and visitors to sample fare from a variety of local restaurants. Restaurants interested in participating this year are asked to sign up by May 26 and can do so through this link.
