Florida Winefest and Auction returns for its 33rd annual celebration with a Champagne reception, wine brunch and charity auction on April 1. The aptly named “No Fooling” event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in downtown Sarasota.

Included in the festivities will be a four-course brunch catered by chef Paul Mattison, along with a live auction that will include wines, jewelry, trips, food experiences and other unique excursions. Proceeds from the event will benefit underserved youth in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Since the event began in 1991, Florida Winefest and Auction has awarded more than $9.3 million to 95 local children’s charities.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring this event back to our community and make a positive impact on the lives of local disadvantaged youth,” event organizer Sandy Loevner said in a press release. “We invite everyone to come out and enjoy a delicious brunch, amazing wines and the opportunity to bid on unique items at our live auction, all while supporting a great cause.

Tickets for the charity brunch are available now for $225 per person. To register, click here.
