Fans of the downtown Sarasota Farmers Market have chosen the winner of the organization's T-shirt and tote bag design contest. The winning image was created by Michael White, a Ringling College of Art and Design graduate and freelance illustrator.

White's design is a vibrant depiction of a day at the market, with a few twists, like a blissful manatee enjoying a cup of coffee in the foreground. The graphic will be printed on T-shirts and tote bags that will be on sale at the market's information booth starting Saturday, March 27. That same day, the market will also celebrate its perseverance through the Covid-19 pandemic, with Sarasota Mayor Hagen Brody delivering a proclamation and other festivities.
