New Palmetto Supermarket Opens
Detwiler's Farm Market is opening its new location in Palmetto at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 18.

The popular locally owned supermarket company Detwiler's Farm Market is opening its new location in Palmetto at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 18. The new market, located at 1800 U.S. 301, Palmetto, is the company's fourth store, joining two in Sarasota and one in Venice. Detwiler’s is owned and operated by Henry and Natalie Detwiler and their nine children. The company began as a roadside stand in 2002 and opened its first store on Palmer Road in Sarasota in 2008.
