11th Annual Paws on the Catwalk Luncheon

Held at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Sarasota, doors will open at 10:30 a.m. with signature cocktails, a shopping reception and a raffle, followed by lunch. Guests will be treated to a fashion show produced by INfluence Style, a live auction and exciting entertainment throughout. Attire: White for women, black for men.Tickets: $150 each. A La Mode Macaron Pop-Up at Camilyn Beth Studio

A La Mode Macaron, which sandwiches creamy, dreamy ice cream between giant macaron cookies, is setting up shop outside Camilyn Beth's Palm Avenue studio in celebration of the designer's five-year anniversary. Flavors include honey-lavender, s'mores and and raspberry cheesecake; they'll be available from noon until sold-out (pro tip: get there early). More info here.
Blues, Brews and BBQ Fest

The 3rd Annual Blues, Brews and BBQ Fest kicks off with live music from Suncoast blues artist Steve Arvey, known as “Stone Crab Steve.” Along with the music there will be tasty food and barbecue and a full liquor bar along with standard domestic beers, wine and non-alcoholic selections also available, a silent auction and more.
