Looking for a serious burger? Look no further than Baker & Wife: the restaurant's Belly Up Burger ($21.50), which is topped with sous-vide pork belly, kimchi, Korean barbecue aioli, marinated cucumber and a poached egg, and served with fries. Not for the faint of heart, but seriously delicious.

Though you might not think to order fish at a steakhouse, the Chilean sea bass ($39) at Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse is excellent. The white fish was flavorful and flaky, served with a lemon butter sauce and green slaw. Best of all: if you don't finish it, it makes for great leftovers the next day.

Up the ante on the traditional brunch cocktail with Made's dreamsicle mimosa ($8), served at the restaurant's famous Sunday brunch. It features all the usual mimosa ingredients--that is, Champagne and orange juice--and then adds in rich, creamy vanilla ice cream. The result? A frothy cocktail that tastes just like the dreamsicle of your childhood--but with an adult kick.

The yellow tomato bisque at Ruth's Chris is the perfect way to start your meal--made from yellow tomatoes, which are less acidic than red ones, the soup is light and smooth, topped with a Parmesan cheese puff and a drizzle of basil oil that makes all of the ingredients pop.

The sandwiches at Piccolo Italian Market are legendary, thanks both to their girth (think actual submarine), as well as the plethora of cured meats, cheeses and accoutrements that fill their bread. The “Godfather” ($9.50-$11.50) is indicative of what you can expect. Roughly as big as a Pinto, it includes prosciutto, capicollo, salami, sopressata, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, oil, vinegar and a dash of hot giardiniera. You may never need to eat again.
