Tanya Schreibman Top Doctor

In Sarasota, where CAN Community Health first opened its doors in 1991, Dr. Tanya Schreibman leads with both expertise and heart. As an accomplished Medical Director, she brings years of experience in infectious diseases as an alumna of both Cornell and Yale University. Her passion for HIV care shines through in every patient interaction at the Tuttle clinic—a place she’s proudly called home for more than seventeen years.
A respected voice in Florida’s HIV and AIDS landscape, she is Associate Director of Clinical Research at CAN and principal investigator on multiple national and international clinical trials. She is on staff at Florida State University and has affiliate privileges at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Whether she’s mentoring future providers or advocating for her patients, Dr. Schreibman stands at the intersection of science, compassion, and community—championing CAN’s mission to empower wellness in the heart of Sarasota, the city where it all began.
