After barbecuesboat parades and plenty of red, white and blue, there's no better way to end a Fourth of July celebration than watching fireworks. Here's where to catch the most spectacular displays. Get those lawn chairs ready.

July 3, 2023

Nathan Benderson Park

Starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota

The Sarasota park will be hosting its annual fireworks display and family-friendly event the night before the Fourth. Gates open at 5 p.m. and music starts at 5:30 p.m. with fireworks just after 9 p.m. Parking is $35 per car on Regatta Island and $25 per car in the South Lot, with a VIP experience available for $120 per adult and $75 per child. Bayfront Park

9 p.m., Thursday, July 4, 5 Bayfront Drive, Sarasota

Celebrate the Fourth of July along the downtown Sarasota bayfront. This annual fireworks display is organized by Suncoast Charities for Children in partnership with Marina Jack. For more information, click here.

Siesta Key Community Fireworks

Dusk, Thursday, July 4, 948 Beach Road, Siesta Key, Sarasota

This year is Siesta Key's 33rd annual fireworks show at its renowned white sand beach. Arrive at early to get a good seat in the sand; fireworks begin at dusk. 

South Jetty at Venice Beach

9 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2000 Tarpon Center Drive, Venice

Fireworks will be shot from the South Jetty on Thursday, July 4, just after 9 p.m. The free show will last an estimated 20-25 minutes; fireworks are also viewable from Caspersen Beach to Nokomis Beach, as well as other locations around Venice. Palmetto Fourth Fest

Starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, at Riverside Park, 801 Riverside Drive, Palmetto

Enjoy a free festival in Riverside Park featuring live music and a food and beverage garden hosted by the DeSoto Historical Society, with fireworks over the Green Bridge on the Manatee River beginning around 9 p.m. Click here for more info.
