After barbecuesboat parades and plenty of red, white and blue, there's no better way to end a Fourth of July celebration than watching fireworks. Here's where to catch the most spectacular displays. Get those lawn chairs ready.

July 3, 2023

Nathan Benderson Park

Starting at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota

The Sarasota park will be hosting its annual fireworks display and family-friendly event the night before the Fourth. Gates open at 5 p.m. and music starts at 5:30 p.m. with fireworks just after 9 p.m. Parking is $30 per car on Regatta Island and $20 per car in the South Lot, with a VIP experience available for $75 per person. Bayfront Park

9 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 5 Bayfront Drive, Sarasota

Celebrate the Fourth of July along the downtown Sarasota bayfront. This annual fireworks display is organized by Suncoast Charities for Children in partnership with Marina Jack. For more information, click here.

Siesta Key Community Fireworks

8 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 948 Beach Road, Siesta Key, Sarasota

This year is Siesta Key's 32nd annual fireworks show at its renowned white sand beach. Arrive at 6 p.m. to get a good seat in the sand; fireworks begin at 8. This year, a Heroes Package, including reserved parking, food, beverages, and seating in the VIP area, is available for $100 for family of four exclusively for military personnel, veterans, first responders, medical staff, and teachers. South Jetty at Venice Beach

9 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2000 Tarpon Center Drive, Venice

Fireworks will be shot from the South Jetty on Tuesday, July 4, just after 9 p.m. The free show will last an estimated 30 minutes; fireworks are also viewable from Caspersen Beach to Nokomis Beach, as well as other locations around Venice. Palmetto Fourth Fest

Starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, at Sutton Park, 1036 Sixth St. W., Palmetto

Enjoy a free concert in Sutton Park featuring Great White with opener Daryl Worley, with fireworks over the Green Bridge on the Manatee River in the evening. There will also be crafts, food and more. Click here for more info.
