If you're new in town and looking for ways to get involved, come to GeneroCity, Sarasota Magazine's free philanthropy expo, from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium. Grab a glass of wine and meet and mingle with representatives from more than 65 area nonprofits, and attend hour-long panel discussions like "Navigating Philanthropy in Sarasota-Manateee" at 4:30 p.m. and "Giving Back and Getting Involved: A Panel for Young Professionals" at 6 p.m.
