Where to Watch the Fireworks on the Fourth of July

From Anna Maria down to Venice, here's where to celebrate Independence Day.

Nathan Benderson Park Fireworks on the Lake (July 3)

There will be a variety of events on Tuesday, July 3, at Nathan Benderson Park to celebrate the upcoming holiday, including multiple musical acts and a fireworks show. Gates open at 4 p.m. 

Fireworks at the Marauders Game (July 3)

Watch the Bradenton Marauders play the Palm Beach Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on July 3 before enjoying post-game fireworks in preparation for the Fourth. The Marauders will be giving T-shirts to 1,500 fans and auctioning off a star-spangled jersey. Click here for ticket and event information.

Anna Maria Island Fourth of July Parade

This annual parade will kick off at 10 a.m. on the on the Fouth of July starting at Coquina Beach and stretching through the whole island, ending at Anna Maria City Pier at around 12 p.m.

All-American Cookout at Selby Gardens

Listen to live music from The Hydramatic, enjoy All-American favorites from Michael’s on East grill and participate in family and children’s activities before watching the downtown Sarasota Fourth of July fireworks. Downtown Sarasota Fireworks

Catch the annual fireworks display over Sarasota Bay, free from anywhere downtown including Bayfront Park and Island Park. The fireworks show will start around 9 p.m.

The Westin Sarasota Fireworks

On July 4, head to the Westin for a day of festivities. Hotel guests can enjoy a grill station hosted by The Roof Bar & Eats from 12 - 4 p.m., an "American Barbeque" on the EVOQ terrace from 5-8 p.m. ($40 cover charge), a live D.J. from 6-9 p.m. and the downtown Sarasota fireworks at 9 p.m. Space is limited. 28th Annual Fourth of July Celebration at Siesta Key

Beginning at 9.pm. on July 4, watch the annual fireworks show over Siesta Key. The festivities kick off north of the volleyball courts, but the best views are from the south (along Crescent Beach), on the Intracoastal and on the Gulf.

Fireworks at South Jetty in Venice

Fireworks in Venice will start at about 9 p.m. from the South Jetty (Humphris Park). You can view the show from the water, on area beaches from Caspersen to Nokomis, and from other places around Venice. For information on road, food and water closings prior to the show, click here.

Fireworks on the Manatee River

Head to downtown Bradenton or the Bradenton Riverwalk to enjoy Fourth of July fireworks on the Manatee River. The Green Bridge will be closed prior to the start of the show.
