After a summer sales blitz that yielded more than 30 contracts totaling nearly $200 million, The Residences at St. Regis Longboat Key is officially launching, according to real estate broker Michael Saunders & Company, which is representing the developer, Orlando-based Unicorp National Developments.

Three six-story residential buildings containing 69 luxury condominiums will comprise the project, with prices starting in the $2 millions. Eighteen contemporary one- to four-bedroom floor plans are being offered, many with unobstructed Gulf of Mexico views.

Groundbreaking is expected in the summer of 2021, with completion at the end of 2023.

The 18-acre site was the longtime home of the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort, for decades an internationally renowned vacation destination, which closed in 2010 after a lengthy legal battle and was demolished in 2019.

St. Regis is part of Marriott International’s portfolio of luxury brands, and residents will be able to access resort amenities at the adjacent St. Regis Resort & Spa. Other amenities exclusively for homeowners include a pool and spa, wellness center, butler and concierge services, daily housekeeping, on-site pet grooming and chef services, and Bentley and chauffer service.
